Alda rises in the new year with Hafrannsóknastofnun

We at Alda are very proud to start the year with a valuable new client - the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute. Before the research vessel Árni Friðriksson set off on a capelin search earlier this week, a demonstration of Alda was held for all crew members. The crew was very excited about Alda and CEO Eggert B. Guðmundsson also came on board to get learn about the increased emphasis on safety at sea with Alda.

Hafró intends to be a leader and role model in maritime safety and will also be involved in a development partnership with Alda

Stefán Eyfjörð Stefánsson, Asset Operations Manager, has led this partnership on behalf of Hafró and says that the implementation of Alda is part of Hafró's increased focus on maritime safety - and they are very excited to work with the Alda team in the development of the system, which involves digital risk assessment of work on board.

Alda will also be implemented on board the research vessel Þórunn Þórðardóttir next week and captains Heimir and Guðmundur are very keen to start using it on the first tours of the year.

We are very much looking forward to the collaboration with Hafró and are proud to support their ambitious goal of being a leader in maritime safety - both with the implementation of Alda and the continued development of solutions that enhance the safety of crews on board.
