Collaboration, Gratitude and Pride 2025 – Happy New Year

We in the Alda team wish everyone a happy new year and look forward to an exciting year with lots of new adventures as Alda continues to rise in Icelandic waters and other sea areas. We would especially like to thank the fishermen, the fishing companies and other partners for promoting fishermen safety through Alda's innovation and services.
The year 2025 has been very eventful, with a lot of Alda activity, new development partnerships formed with fishing companies, aquaculture companies, the Maritime Safety and Survival Training Centre and participation in the Startup SuperNova business accelerator, KLAK, NOVA and Huawei. This spring, Alda received an SFS incentive award and this autumn, Alda's formal expansion into new sea areas began.
There are enormous opportunities and exciting times ahead in the new year for Alda with increased development partnerships in collaboration with fishermen, fishing companies and partners both in Iceland and abroad.
As early as the beginning of next year, more fishing companies and parties in maritime activities will begin implementing and using Alda's services on board their fleets. At the same time, Alda will continue to rise in foreign markets. All with the aim of promoting the modernization of fishermen safety, based on decades of experience and success in the Icelandic fishing industry under the leadership of the Maritime Safety and Survival Training Centre, captains and fishing companies.
Finally, we would like to formally thank our main partners and sponsors for their invaluable support in the development and progress of Alda, Vísir, SVN, Brim, Skinney-Þinganes, Gjögur, Vinnslustöðin, Samherji, Grindavik-Seafood, as well as the aquaculture companies Arnarlax and Kaldvík. We also thank the various stakeholders, the Icelandic Transport Authority, the Icelandic Maritime Council, the Icelandic Federation of Shipowners, the Icelandic Seafarers' Association, the Icelandic Small Boat Owners' Association and the Maritime Safety and Survival Training Centre.
Happy New Year,
The Alda team
